The idea of Honey Experts was conceived by Spyros Skareas, an Agronomist with an M.Sc. and a certified honey taster, in an effort for the experts in the field to share their knowledge, experiences, and love for the bee.
Our goal is to educate and inform the public about the benefits of honey and the importance of beekeeping for the environment and human health.

We organize honey tasting workshops, offering the public a unique opportunity to delve into the world of honey. Through organoleptic tests and honey evaluation, we provide specialized consulting services to beekeepers, helping them optimize their practices and the quality of their products.

I am an Agronomist M.Sc. and a Certified Honey Sensory Analyst with over 20 years of experience in Greek honey.
As a honey judge, I participate in international and national honey and food competitions such as the Great Taste Awards, Paris International Honey Awards, Athens Fine Food Awards, Healthy Food Awards, and Specialists Awards.
As a Honey Expert, I provide consulting services to beekeepers and honey companies, advising on product quality and market expansion in Greece and abroad. Additionally, as a Honey Sommelier, I organize workshops and honey tasting seminars for chefs, food editors, restaurant and hotel owners, as well as international visitors.
